Battling Connor Bazelak for QB1 Tuttle is in a two-man quarterback race for the Hoosiers' starting spot after Donaven McCulley transitioned to wideout, per Don Fischer.

Impact Tuttle's task of nabbing the starting quarterback spot in Bloomington just got a little easier. The senior is now locked in direct competition with incoming Missouri transfer Connor Bazelak . Tuttle has been with the program longer, but his numbers haven't been particularly impressive (two touchdowns, five interceptions in 2021). Bazelak's starting experience should position him as the early favorite.
