Canaan, a redshirt junior, figures to share tight-end duties with Jacob Stewart this season after totaling 80 yards and a touchdown on eight receptions in 2023.

Spotted at practice Canaan (undisclosed) was spotted at San Jose State's practice, Jackson Moore of 247Sports.com reports.

Impact Canaan was limited during the spring, but appears to be making strides in the right direction as he was seen on the field during the Spartans' fall camp. The tight end will look to build off his 2023 campaign in which he tallied eight catches for 80 yards and a score across five games.
