Impact Lanam's 2020 season ended prematurely due to injury, leaving the Bobcats' relatively bare in terms of tight end depth. He has apparently packed on weight along with a few other tight ends, perhaps in an effort to be able to keep them on the field in the upcoming season. It was also reported that the team ran a lot of two-tight end sets in spring camp, so it's possible the offense is trending in a heavier set direction a bit for 2021, which could benefit Lanam.
