Finally hits paydirt Gibson reeled in all two targets for 50 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 47-42 loss versus Connecticut.
Surpasses 2023 totals Gibson caught six passes for 72 yards on Sept. 7 in the Connecticut 63-14 win over FCS Merrimack.
Impact In the one game the sophomore already has more receptions and receiving yards this season compared to 2023. Last season Gibson caught four passes for 62 yards. In the two games this season, he has nine receptions for 92 yards, but is still looking for his first touchdown. The Huskies take on Duke this Saturday (Sept. 14). The Blue Devils were in the top 50 in the nation against the pass last season.
