The redshirt junior's previous best was 86 rushing yards on eight carries against Purdue on Sept. 14. Price finished the regular season with 651 yards on 89 attempts and seven touchdowns. His production in the college football playoffs will depend on the status of Love.

Against Florida State the junior gained more traction compared to the Irish number one running back, Jeremiyah Love. Price and the Notre Dame running game might have a little harder time this Saturday (Nov. 16) against Virginia. The Cavs' defense is in the top 50 against the run.

Mixed Results Against A&M Price showed off his breakout skills with a 47-yard touchdown run in the Notre Dame 23-13 victory at Texas A&M on Saturday night.

Impact The junior ran a total of eight times against the Aggies for 44 yards. Seven of the carries though totaled minus-3 yards. In 2023, Price finished with 52 touches for 337 yards and four scores. Last season, the team limited his snaps following a torn Achilles tendon that eliminated his freshman campaign in 2022. The junior does not have a snap count this season and is battling with Jeremiyah Love for carries. Love registered 14 carries for 91 yards and a touchdown against Texas A&M.
