Impact Bailey entered the transfer portal in early March and will continue his collegiate career with the Mustangs. He spent the past three years with Rice and caught 56 passes for 714 yards and two touchdowns in 11 games last season.

Impact Bailey's late-winter entry into the portal makes him one of the most accomplished receivers on the market for FBS schools looking to add to the position group ahead of the 2022 before. Before missing Rice's regular-season finale against Louisiana Tech due to an unspecified issue, Bailey led the Owls with 56 receptions for 714 yards and two touchdowns en route to earning an honorable mention all-Conference USA selection. He'll have up to two years of eligibility to use at his next school.

Impact Bailey was expected to be the top receiver for the Owls this season, but somebody has to get him the ball. Luke McCaffrey struggled with that, and he finished the game with nine completions for 86 yards. It likely won't be much better against Texas next week.
