New low in receiving numbers Keeney-James hauled in 3 of 7 targets for 24 yards during Saturday's 35-7 victory against Wagner. Impact Keeney-James bottomed out on Saturday with only 24 receiving yards. The senior still leads the Minutemen in receiving yards this season with 566 yards on 32 catches. Since the Minutemen faced FCS Wagner, Keeney-James was not really needed. He will be needed to come up big against SEC Mississippi State next on Nov. 2. The Bulldogs defense is near the bottom in the country against the pass, but Mississippi State has faced three of the top 10 teams in the nation.
