Leads Minutemen in rushing John tallied 15 rushes for 119 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 35-34 overtime loss versus Liberty.

Impact John had quite a day that turned out to be his career best on the ground. The junior is on the heels of UMass's leading rusher, sophomore CJ Hester, for the team lead, 400 to 398 yards. John will have a tougher task against Georgia on Saturday (Nov. 23). The Bulldogs defense is in the top 30 in the country against the run.

Leads in Catches in Loss John collected five passes for 42 yards to lead Massachusetts in receiving in the Minutemen's 28-14 loss to Eastern Michigan on Saturday.

Impact The redshirt junior also had the most rushing yards, 53, of the Massachusetts's running backs against Eastern Michigan. John had a total of only 10 rushing attempts for 31 yards last season. But John is looking to take advantage of a void in the Minutemen backfield this season. Almost all of the rushing yards from the 2023 running backs have left the program.

Impact John is now set to suit up for the Minutemen next fall following his three-year stint at Arizona. After serving as a complementary backfield option across his first two collegiate seasons, the 225-pound running back didn't record any offensive snaps throughout this past campaign with the Wildcats.
