Impact It was a fairly quiet performance for arguably the top target in this offense, and one of the better tight ends in the nation. Still, Wydermyer figures to play a more crucial role against more difficult competition, something that happens as early as next weekend versus the Buffs of Colorado.

Impact Wydermyer missed the Aggies' spring program after he underwent finger surgery due to a "freak off-field accident," but he appears to be healthy heading into fall camp. The tight end hauled in 46 receptions for 506 yards and six touchdowns in 2020 and should play a significant role at Texas A&M once again.
