Impact Adeyi handled nine more carries than any other JMU back in Week 1 but averaged just 2.4 yards per carry. Instead of giving Adeyi another shot, the Dukes turned to George Pettaway (10 carries) and Tyler Purdy (10 carries) for most of the team's rushing attempts. Pettaway and Purdy combined for 143 yards and a touchdown, making it even less likely that Adeyi returns to a lead role next time out.
