Impact McClellan suffered a knee injury against USM early last season, but he has progressed well in his rehab ahead of the 2022 campaign. In five games in 2021, the running back ran the ball 40 times for 191 yards and a score while he was also able to secure 10 catches for 97 yards and three touchdowns while operating as a change of pace option behind Brian Robinson. Both McClellan and Roydell Williams are both returning from knee injuries with a chance to see increase roles in the Crimson Tide offense this season.
