Transfers to Weber State Record has announced that he will transfer to Weber State, Joseph Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Impact Record will make the move to Weber State after spending two seasons with SMU. The 5-foot-8 sophomore appeared in five games with the program, but he didn't record any stats. Record will look to take on a larger role with Weber State next season.

Impact Just a week ago, Record was one of several Mustangs players who indicated that he would sit out the remainder of the season to take a redshirt and pursue transfer options, but the sophomore wideout may have had a change of heart. Even so, Record's presence at practice is far from a guarantee that he'll be on the field for Friday's Week 7 game against Navy. In the three games he's played this season, Record hasn't drawn a target and has gained 63 yards as a kickoff returner.
