Deemed co-starter for opener Redd is listed as a co-starter with Mycah Pittman for Saturday's season opener versus Fresno State, James Crepea of The Oregonian reports.

Impact Redd finished second on the team in receiving yards and led the team in receptions last season, so it seems unlikely his role will be reduced very much in 2021. However, the emergence of true freshman Troy Franklin as a starter out of the gate does lead to some more target distribution concerns, with Redd set to contend with Franklin, Johnny Johnson and Mycan Pittman for looks among the wideouts.

Impact Redd missed some practice earlier in camp due to an injury but appears to be healthy well ahead of the season opener versus Fresno State. He figures to be one of the top targets in the Ducks' passing attack after reeling in 25 passes for 281 yards and a touchdown over seven games last year.

Impact Redd was previously working with training staff exclusively off to the side, but he's recently progressed to taking part in other parts of practice. He caught 25 passes for 281 yards while rushing three times for 53 yards and two total touchdowns last season.
