The graduate senior ultimately finished second in targets behind sophomore wideout Tai Felton (eight) and ahead of tight end Corey Dyches (four) during this ugly bowl win. While Jones largely served as the second or third receiving option when the Terps' receiving corps was fully healthy, he still led the team in receptions (44), receiving yards (557), targets (65) and receiving touchdowns (four). With starting quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa returning to Maryland next season, Jones could be in line for an even bigger workload should he return for his final season of collegiate eligibility in 2023.
