Knocked out of Illinois game Himon (undisclosed) is out for the remainder of the Wildcats' game against Illinois, Inside NU reports.
Scores overtime winner Himon compiled six rushes for 78 yards and one touchdown and reeled in all three targets for 34 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 26-20 overtime victory against Purdue.
Impact Himon was the star of the game for the Wildcats, accounting for over 100 total yards and a pair of touchdowns. His second score came on a 22-yard pass from quarterback Jack Lausch in overtime, securing the victory for Northwestern. The redshirt sophomore running back has struggled to get involved within the Northwestern offense this season, as Saturday marked just the second time all season in which he recorded more than five carries. Himon will hope to build on Saturday's performance when the Wildcats host Ohio State following the team's upcoming bye.
