Impact Ford finished fourth on team in carries, notably behind Zuberi Mobley, who coming into the season was much lower down the depth chart. However, Ford is coming off an injury so it is possible he will be seeing more carries in coming weeks.

Impact Ford has been sidelined for the first three games of the season, despite once being listed as probable before a Sept. 3 loss against Ohio. Assuming he's able to go, Ford will likely cut into Larry McCammon's workload and could eventually surpass him as the lead back. The South Florida transfer logged the best numbers of his career in 2021 with 131 carries for 831 yards and five touchdowns, while adding an additional 280 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Impact It seems like the South Florida transfer has established himself as the Owls' lead back already. He had 15 carries when nobody else had more than seven, and he had the most yards as well. However, he did fumble twice. That could come back to bite him.
