Slated to enter 2024 NFL Draft Brooks (knee) is expected to enter the 2024 NFL Draft, 247Sports reports.

Impact Brooks emerged as the Longhorns' lead runner in 2023, amassing 187 carries for 1,139 yards and 10 touchdowns while adding 25 catches for 286 yards and a score over 10 games. Unfortunately, he also suffered a torn ACL against TCU, which held him out the final four games of the season. That injury will likely mean a hit to his draft stock as well, as Brooks could be sidelined for at least a portion of his rookie season and won't get a chance to perform at the combine in the spring, but Brooks figures to hear his name called at some point in the 2024 NFL Draft. Before the injury, Brooks was reportedly being discussed as the possible top back off the board, so it remains to be seen how much the injury will ding his stock.
