Impact After failing to appear in a game during his one season with Virginia Tech, Brunson will likely be joining a new program ahead of the the 2022 campaign. He still has all four years of eligibility to play wherever he ends up.

Not included in camp roster Brunson is among 12 players who will not participate in fall camp due to Virginia Tech being over the limit of 110, Mike Niziolek of The Roanoke Times reports.

Impact A freshman, Brunson doesn't appear to be in the Hokies' plans for the upcoming season given his exclusion from the roster. He will be eligible to rejoin the team at practice Aug. 23 when classes start but seems unlikely to take the field this fall barring mass absences in the backfield.
