Signs with South Carolina Dingle has signed with South Carolina, Andrew Graham of On3.com reports.

Impact Currently, Joshua Simon is South Carolina's primary option at tight end. But by the time 2025 rolls around, he will no longer be a student athlete. This leaves a vacancy that is promising for Dingle. While enrolled at Kentucky, he occasionally proved himself to be a top option by logging 200-to-300 yards during 2022 and 2023.

Impact Dingle caught nine passes for 71 yards and a touchdown this season. The tight end was more productive in his previous two seasons with the Wildcats, but it took a hit in 2024. He'll have one year of eligibility remaining at his next destination.

Impact Saturday marked quite a few "first time in a while" cases for Dingle. He logged his first target since Week 8 and first reception since Week 7. However, perhaps the most important is Dingle logging his first multi-reception game since Week 4. While healthy, Dingle has been a serviceable tight end in small doses. At the very least, he will look to log his third consecutive season with at least 100 yards, which he is currently 29 away from.
