Impact Barnes received the uptick in opportunites as Marcus Major was held out of the game with an ankle injury. Starter, Eric Gray, also had a productive day with 13 carries for 60 yards and a touchdown. Barnes is a talented true freshman and could see more touches if Oklahoma's season starts to get away from them. Oklahoma will play Texas in the Red River rivalry next week.
