Impact Rogers, who announced his commitment to UNLV in January after transferring from TCU, will be eligible to take the field right away after taking a redshirt for the 2019 season. Prior to last season, the quarterback was slow to bounce back from the knee surgery he required in high school in 2017, but the expectation is that the rising redshirt sophomore will be healthy enough to compete for the Rebels' starting job this fall. Incumbent starter Kenyon Oblad is also in the mix to open the season atop the depth chart.
