Impact After sitting out California's first seven games of 2023, Williams-Thomas finally made his year debut against USC. He fared relatively well as the Golden Bears' second-best rusher behind Jaydn Ott. Williams-Thomas has the entire month of November to make up for some lost time, and being a secondary back behind Ott could make him an intriguing option if that role comes to fruition for him.

Impact Williams-Thomas had previously committed to transfer to Stanford, but is headed to their rival instead. He will have four years of eligibility left for California.

Heads to Stanford Williams-Thomas announced Tuesday via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to Stanford, joining the program as a transfer from Tennessee.

Impact Williams-Thomas entered the transfer portal in late November after appearing in just three games with Tennessee. In those contests, he tallied 11 carries for 37 yards. Since he qualified for a redshirt by appearing in four games or fewer, Williams-Thomas will take four years of eligibility with him to Stanford.
