Avery Johnson - Costly turnovers in loss Johnson was 23-for-39 passing for 238 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions during Saturday's 24-19 loss to Houston. He also had eight rushes for 18 yards. Impact Johnson committed two turnovers for the second time this season, the other instance occurring in Week 4 at BYU. The outcomes in both of those games didn't bode well for the Wildcats. The most surprising stat was that Johnson managed just 18 rushing yards against Houston. Johnson entered the season with a lot of dual-threat hype, however, he's averaged just 43.4 rushing yards per game and has just four scores on the ground. Kansas State is on a bye before playing Arizona State.
