Impact With both Chip Trayanum (ankle) and Demie Sumo-Karngbaye (undisclosed) out, Wilcox will start at running back for the Wildcats. The redshirt freshman has rushed 32 times for 224 yards this season, an impressive seven yards per carry. Jason Patterson also figures to see some work.

Impact Trayanum saw his first action of the season against Florida, logging seven carries for 27 yards. Now, he's banged up one again. Although the severity of his injury is currently unclear, "tweaked" doesn't sound like the tailback is dealing with something overly serious. Still, it'll throw his status for Saturday up in the air. More should be known about the Trayanum's injury when the SEC injury report drops Wednesday night.

Impact The senior was held to his lowest rushing total of the season, though has still received double-digit carries in six-straight contests. He will look for his first 100-yard rushing performance of the year next weekend against Auburn,

Still, he should see plenty of opportunities against Auburn next weekend.

Impact The junior found the end zone for the second time in 2024, as he continues to enjoy a smaller package of running plays. His role will likely be the same against Auburn next weekend.

Brock Vandagriff - Mediocre at best in loss Vandagriff completed 12 of 26 passes for 165 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions during Saturday's 48-20 loss to Florida. He also had eight rushes for 33 yards.

Impact On a positive note, Vandagriff has at least one touchdown pass in three-straight outings. On the downside, he has yet to throw for even 250 yards in a single game in 2024, and has been held under 200 yards passing in five of seven contests. A clash of subpar offenses will take place next weekend when the Wildcats host the Auburn Tigers.
