Impact Sadiq stepped up with senior tight end Terrance Ferguson sidelined after getting his appendix removed Friday. In his absence, the 6-foot-3 sophomore somewhat surprisingly appeared to play more than senior Patrick Herbert. The Ducks got out to a 21-0 lead after their third offensive series, so it's hard to tell how much of their typical offense they were running in such an early blowout. Backup running backs Noah Whittington and Jay Harris also saw increased workloads, so it might've been the same for this tight end corps as well. With Ferguson likely sidelined for some time, it will be worth monitoring if Sadiq continues to get a TE1 workload during next week's home game versus Illinois.
