Leaving Memphis Hargrove has entered the NCAA transfer portal, 247Sports.com reports.

Impact Hargrove has decided to re-enter the transfer portal after spending one season with the Tigers. A 5-foot-11 redshirt sophomore transfer from Mississippi State, Hargrove saw just 11 carries for 43 yards and a touchdown during his time with Memphis. Hargrove will likely turn to a program that presents him with additional opportunities after failing to see the field with Mississippi State as well.

Lands at Memphis Hargrove announced Jan. 12 via his personal Twitter account that he committed to Memphis, joining the program as a transfer from Mississippi State.

Impact Hargrove arrives at Memphis after a two-year stint at Mississippi State in which he appeared in five games but didn't see any carries out of the backfield. The 5-foot-11, 200-pound Hargrove will vie for a depth role at running back for Memphis and will have three years of eligibility remaining.
