He hasn't even hit the 50-yard mark since Week 2, and defenses are severely limiting the wideout's impact. He'll remain the top receiving option for the Wolfpack, but that hasn't translated into production for the talented wideout.

Impact Concepcion has certainly suffered from NC State's quarterback situation, but his stat-line against NIU was one of the strangest on the season. His four catches only notched him four yards, but he still managed to haul in a touchdown. Concepcion remains extremely talented and dangerous as a wideout, but with CJ Bailey playing quarterback for the Wolfpack, this offense has been rather quiet.

Inefficient outing vs. Clemson Concepcion accrued five receptions (on 11 targets) for 40 yards during Saturday's 59-35 defeat versus Clemson.
Impact Concepcion once again racked up targets, but for the third consecutive week his impact on the game was rather limited with just 40 yards. The wideout remains North Carolina State's top option, but he has yet to find chemistry with quarterback CJ Bailey, who is replacing the injured Grayson McCall (undisclosed).

The wideout has big-play ability, but the Bulldogs did an excellent job of limiting his run-after-catch and gang-tackling the dangerous pass-catcher. Up next for Conception is a big showdown with Clemson.

Impact Conception remains the Wolfpack's top receiving threat, but that meat very little in the midst of a 41-point blowout at the hands of the Volunteers. NC State's offense was completely shut down for the majority of the contest, and that was reflected its stats across the board. The superstar receiver Conception was no exception. His five catches for 53 yards wasn't a terrible output, but it was a far cry from the nine for 121 yards and a score he posted in the opener. His targets also dipped significantly from Week.1 to Week 1, but again, much of that can be attributed to the blowout. He'll remain the top player at the position for the Wolfpack.

Impact Concepcion will not go anywhere after signing with the Savage Wolves NIL Collective for North Carolina State's 2024 season. He excelled during his first year in college. Across 12 games, Concepcion logged 64 receptions for 767 yards (12 averaged per catch) and 10 touchdowns. He also logged 38 carries for 297 rushing yards (7.8 averaged per carry) and a passing touchdown, finishing 2023 with more than 1,000 all-purpose yards and 10 TDs.
