100 yards in loss Campbell hauled in 6 of 8 targets for 100 yards during Saturday's 24-10 defeat to Tulane.

Impact Campbell had just 97 yards in his previous five games heading into Saturday's matchup, but still was able to leave the game with a season-high 100 receiving yards. He also set season highs in receptions and targets. His lack of production up until this point is concerning, but this could be the performance he needed to break out for the rest of the season.

Scores in Saturday's opener Campbell totaled four receptions (on seven targets) for 53 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 34-14 loss to Sam Houston State.

Impact Campbell scored the Owls' lone touchdown through the air Saturday, a 22-yarder in the second quarter. He received seven targets in the game, tied for the second most behind running back Dean Connors. It was a strong start to the season but it comes with the caveat that presumed No. 1 option Landon Ransom-Goelz (undisclosed) sat out the game, so it's unclear where Campbell stands when Ransom-Goelz is able to return.
