Looks towards NFL Mumpfield will declare for the NFL Draft and opt out of Pittsburgh's bowl game against Toledo, TribLive.com reports.

Impact Mumpfield had a career year in his senior season with the Panthers, reeling in 52 catches for 813 yards and five touchdowns. He'll now call it a college career and look towards the NFL draft, where his experience and production should garner him plenty of looks from general managers.

Impact Mumpfield has been extremely quiet in recent weeks, but he didn't need to do much against Syracuse. Pittsburgh's defense, which recorded three pick-sixes, did most of the heavy lifting, meaning one of Holstein's favorite targets didn't need to be involved. He figures to be a much larger factor next week in a huge showdown with SMU in a game with major ACC title race implications.

Impact Mumpfield was Pittsburgh's leading receiver yardage-wise in what was a quiet day for the Panthers' passing game.
