Impact Drones had a quiet day through the air, but he didn't need to rack up the passing numbers to lead Virginia Tech's offense to a 42-point performance. Drones' legs were deadly, as he scored twice on the ground while gaining 40 yards in that department. The quarterback has been effective for the Hokies, but he still has just one game of 200-plus passing yards to his name this fall. His weekly rushing production, however, adds plenty of upside to the gunslinger from a fantasy perspective.

Three scores in blowout win Drones was 14-for-19 passing for 201 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 31-7 victory against Stanford. He also had eight rushes for 17 yards with one touchdown.

Impact Drones didn't need to do all that much in an easy win over struggling Stanford. He had his most efficient day as a passer this season, completing 73.7 percent of his passes. He also didn't turn the ball over for just the second game of the 2024 season. Drones also hit the 200-yard passing mark for the first time since Week 1. He hasn't necessarily poured on the stats this season, but the gunslinger has done enough to operate this offense fluently more often than not.

Not enough to upset Miami Drones completed 19 of 33 passes for 189 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Friday's 38-34 defeat against Miami (FL). He also had nine rushes for 52 yards.

Impact Drones' day would've looked much better had his game-winning Hail Mary not been controversially overturned. Still, the quarterback did all he could to nearly upset the 'Canes, and put together a respectable stat-line in the process. Still, it was the fourth consecutive game Drones hasn't hit the 200-yard mark passing. If you're looking for big-time production through the air, look elsewhere.

Poor day as a passer Drones completed 13 of 27 passes for 137 yards and one interception during Saturday's 26-23 loss against Rutgers. He also had nine rushes for 60 yards.

Impact Drones remains a highly effective mobile quarterback, but he struggled through the air against Rutgers' tough defense, completing a season-low 48 percent of his passes while throwing a pick. Drones hasn't put up big numbers in the passing game since the opener, and he's been uneven the past two weeks. The quarterback will look for a bounce-back performance against Miami (FL) on Friday night.

Impact Drones' passing numbers certainly weren't electrifying, but his legs helped carry the Hokies to a win over in-state rival Old Dominion. His 12 carries for 117 yards were the great equalizer, the element that pushed the Virginia Tech offense over the top against the Monarchs. Drones' passing has suffered since his 322-yard performance in Week 1, but he remains a solid option with the way he can dictate a game with his rushing ability.

His full participation in practice is clearly a good sign for the gunslinger's availability against Marshall this Saturday.
