Impact Lyddy did not get the start with Jacob Zeno out, but still played a fair amount, as did Harrison Barker and Trace Campbell. None of the three stood out, and if anything Lyddy hurt his stock by throwing two interceptions in the blowout loss.

Impact Lyddy entered the portal after seeing significant playing time in four of the final five games for Louisiana Tech last season. Over these four games, the true freshman signal-caller went 74-for-114 passing for 687 yards and three touchdowns to four interceptions to go along with one rushing touchdown over 11 carries. Lyddy will now look to continue his development under the eye of former NFL quarterback and longtime quarterback tutor Trent Dilfer, who took the Blazers' head-coaching position in early December.
