Catches first career TD Clifford hauled in all three targets for 64 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 56-0 victory against Kent State. Impact Clifford got involved in the offense for the first time this season. The redshirt senior caught the Nittany Lions' third touchdown pass of the first half, and he was one of four Penn State pass-catchers to score a touchdown Saturday. Offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki experimented with more unique play calls Week 4, as backup quarterback Beau Pribula and tight end Tyler Warren both took snaps during the first half. Clifford getting more involved may have had more to do with what was an experimental offensive playbook Saturday. Expect him to come back down to earth while playing behind wideouts Harrison Wallace and Omari Evans during conference play.
