Out due to surgery Bradford is expected to miss around three months due to surgery, ASeaofRed.com reports.

Impact Bradford will miss the Bahamas Bowl on Jan. 4 due to an undisclosed surgery, and it's unclear if the freshman will have a role with the team in 2025. With Ryan Burger in the concussion protocol, there's a chance Nate Hampton ends up being the starter for Liberty for the matchup against Buffalo.

Could start in Bahamas Bowl Hampton could get the start in the Bahamas Bowl against Buffalo on Jan. 4 if Jake Burger (concussion) doesn't recover in time, ASeaofRed.com reports.

Impact Hampton is in the transfer portal but has been practicing with Liberty, and in fact, another report from ASeaofRed.com confirmed the junior has been getting most of the reps in practice with Burger sidelined. Look for Hampton to start in the Bahamas Bowl if Burger doesn't recover in time.

In concussion protocol Burger is in the concussion protocol and hasn't practiced throughout the week, so his status for the Jan. 4 game against Buffalo is uncertain, according to ASeaofRed.com.

Impact There are roughly three weeks left before this matchup, so Burger will have enough time to recover and start under center. However, and in the meantime, Nate Hampton, who's in the transfer portal, has been earning most of the reps in practice and could start if Burger is out. Burger, a sophomore, made just four starts for Liberty in 2024, completing four of seven passes. He's expected to get the start for the Bahamas Bowl since Kaidon Salter elected to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 2.
