ImpactWith the passing game struggling, Lucas got a chance to get more into the mix behind Quinton Cooley. Of course, the factor all season has been "behind Quinton Cooley." Owing to playing behind one of the best Group of Five backs, Lucas has only gotten double-digit touches five times in nine games, and three of those times he has gotten exactly 11 touches. He's done fairly well with his workload, but he's not going to overshadow Cooley.

ImpactWith Kaidon Salter regressing this season, Cooley has stood up and said, "I got you guys" in keeping the Liberty offense moving. Every single time he has been given double-digit touches he has rushed for over 100 yards and scored at least once. He's now hit double-digit touchdowns on the season and is a scant few yards away from a 1,000-yard season, which he would have already if the Appalachian State game hadn't been canceled.
