Impact Montgomery scored a 48-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter Saturday, the first touchdown of his collegiate career. It was one of only three carries he had in the game as Rahjai Harris once again took the majority of the work. With Harris' stranglehold on touches in the Pirates' backfield, it will be difficult for Montgomery to maintain any significant production this season.

Impact Montgomery led the Pirates' in rushing yards and carries Saturday, however much of his work, however all of his work came in the fourth quarter with the game already out of hand. Three running backs played over him but none of them played particularly well so there may be a chance for him to break into the rotation as the season progresses.
