Smoke Harris - Finds end zone Harris caught four passes for 52 yards and a touchdown Saturday against Mississippi State.

Impact Harris rose to the top of the depth chart heading into this season, so he's going to be looked to for impact. He led the Bulldogs in receptions in this game and found the end zone against an SEC team, so that's not a bad place to start, especially with a new quarterback under center.

Bub Means - Catches long TD Means caught two passes for 94 yards and a touchdown against Mississippi State on Saturday.

Impact Means basically didn't play at Tennessee before transferring, so he entered this season as a mystery (also, still classified as a freshman). Most of his impact came on a 72-yard touchdown, but that big-play ability will turn heads.

Marcus Williams - Struggles to get things going Williams was held to 21 yards on 13 carries against Mississippi State on Saturday. He also caught three passes for 25 yards.

Impact At Appalachian State, Williams was a good secondary back, netting over 500 yards in all three seasons. This was a concerning performance, though, as he couldn't get anything going on the ground. While he got the most carries, will that be true next week?

Austin Kendall - Accounts for three TDs Kendall went 20-for-36 for 269 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception against Mississippi State on Saturday. He also rushed five times for 68 yards and a score.

Impact Kendall transferred from West Virginia, where he got some playing time but never really clicked. He won the starting job for the Bulldogs and this is a fine start given that he almost pulled off an upset of an SEC team. The rushing yards may be a fluke, though, as they primary came on one run for 59 yards.

Impact Harris is just a redshirt freshman and tallied just one catch all of last year, but it appears he had a good offseason and has worked his way to the top of the depth chart early in his college career. He still has Smoke Harris, Isaiah Graham and and Griffin Herbert to contend with for targets, so a starting spot doesn't guarantee him a ton of production.
