Jayden Daniels - Transferring to LSU Daniels committed Sunday to LSU, joining the program as a transfer from Arizona State, Pete Thamel of ESPN.com reports. Impact Daniels entered the transfer portal in February after initially announcing his intention to return to Arizona State for the 2022 season, and after evaluating his options, he's now decided to continue his collegiate career in Baton Rouge. He started all 13 games for the Sun Devils last season and completed 65.4 percent of his passes for 2,380 yards with 10 touchdowns and 10 interceptions to go along with 710 rushing yards and six more scores. Daniels is expected to report for spring practice within the next few weeks and could be the favorite to start next season with LSU's starter from 2021, Max Johnson, having transferred to Texas A&M in December.
