Smith flashed some skills against Texas Tech in Week 13, so it was a surprise to see him so ineffective against Colorado. He ends the year with 499 yards passing, two touchdowns, and four interceptions. He's expected to be in the conversation for the starting job next season.

Impact Smith impressed in his first career start with three total touchdowns. The offense was potent and took the Red Raiders all the way to the end of the game in the back-and-forth affair. Oklahoma State will attempt to avoid going winless in the conference when they finish the year at Colorado. Smith is certainly worth consideration as he had no problem connecting with the talented Oklahoma State receivers on a regular basis.
