Impact Hughes rushed for over 100 yards in his fifth consecutive game Saturday but failed to score a touchdown for the second straight week. He did not have a particularly efficient day either, but his sheer volume saw him through. He faces a very favorable matchup Saturday versus Tulsa, a defense which has allowed 48 points per game in the last three games.

Another dominant day Hughes accrued 23 rushes for 153 yards and caught their only target for 12 yards during Saturday's 30-28 victory over Rice.

Impact While Hughes did not score a touchdown Saturday, he once again reached 120 rushing yards and set a new season high with 153. He has become the focal point of the Green Wave's offense and is creeping up the FBS leaders -- he currently sits 18th -- in rushing despite a fairly slow start to the season. He faces another favorable matchup at 1-7 East Carolina Saturday.

Dominates once again Hughes totaled 20 carries for 121 yards and one touchdown and gathered in all two targets for 13 yards during Saturday's 35-28 win over North Texas.

Impact Hughes ran for over 120 yards and a touchdown Saturday, his third consecutive game doing so. He also received 20 carries for the third straight game and has clearly taken the role held by TyJae Spears last season. With his ability and the Green Wave expected to win every game for the remainder of the season, Hughes is an elite running back option in any format.
