Impact Irving will pursue an opportunity at the professional level following a standout career at Oregon. Across the last two seasons with the Ducks, the 5-foot-10 junior tallied 328 carries for 2,121 rushing yards and 15 rushing touchdowns (26 games). The former Golden Gopher also flexed his prowess in the receiving game during his time in Eugene, posting 84 receptions for 694 receiving yards and five scores in the passing game.

Impact The Ducks chose to subdue the Beavers via the air, and Oregon State was most effective in keeping Oregon's rushing attack in check, to no avail. Friday marked Irving's second mediocre game in a row, although both games were decisive blowouts where his talents weren't a necessity.

Impact Although Irving came very close to 100 yards of total offense, the Ducks inflicted most of their damage via Bo Nix's arm. He was a recipient of some of the passing attack with three catches, and rushed the ball 11 times. Teammate Jordan James had nine carries to shoulder the load with Irving.

Impact Irving was helped off the field and appeared to be done for the game, but Oregon fans breathed a sigh of relief when he returned to the field and scored a touchdown briefly thereafter. Jordan James is a capable backup, but Irving will continue to lead the rushing attack for the Ducks as long as he remains healthy. The junior is on pace to eclipse 1,000 yards for the season and has 11 touchdowns to his credit.

Misses practice Tuesday Irving was not spotted during Tuesday's practice, James Crepea of The Oregonian reports.

Impact The Ducks' running back finished with over 100 total yards during last week's victory over California. No reports have surfaced in regards to injury, which brings to question Irving's absence from practice. More news will clarify his availability as the week progresses but if misses this week's game, expect more opportunities for Jordan James or Dante Dowdell.
