While he is still firmly behind Rahjai Harris on the depth chart, Gunn is fairly involved in the Pirates' offense and faces a favorable matchup next Saturday at North Texas.

Impact Gunn was seen with a bandaged leg and failed to practice at the turn of July into August, but his injury appears to be not too serious as he's already back. The 6-foot ball-carrier is currently fighting to get into East Carolina's backfield rotation.

It's early in the fall camp schedule, so the tailback has plenty of time to recover before the season rolls around. Still, his injury could open the door for running backs further on the depth chart such as London Montgomery.
