Finally gets some action Crosby ran nine times for 37 yards and a touchdown against JSU on Saturday.

Impact Crosby was expected to be the top back this season, but due to a mix of injuries and ineffectiveness that hasn't been the case. This is his first touchdown of the season, and he has not had double-digit touches in any outing.

Impact Crosby got banged up against North Carolina State and then did not play against Tulsa. He returned from his undisclosed injury, but did not take the lions' share of the carries, and also did nothing with the carries he got. If Crosby can't get it going against MTSU in La Tech's next game, you can relegate him to an afterthought.

DNP vs. Tulsa Crosby (undisclosed) did not play during Louisiana Tech's 23-20 loss Saturday against Tulsa.

Impact Crosby not being 100 percent Saturday resulted in Louisiana Tech's head coach Sonny Cumbie granting increased carries for Donerio Davenport (nine), Fred Robertson (seven) and Omiri Wiggins (six) then. The injured junior will be out until further notice.

Impact Crosby only logged two carries for four yards last week, so it's unsurprising that he's dealing with some ailment that's keeping him off the field. Head coach Sonny Crumbie wouldn't specify further, but it's safe to assume that the tailback's status is in doubt for Week 4 against Tulsa.

Impact Crosby carried the ball all of one time last season due to an undisclosed injury. In 2022, though, he ran for 917 yards and nine touchdowns. This was not a remarkable game, but he did average 4.9 yards per carry. Maybe Crosby just needs to get back up to speed.

Present on initial two-deep Crosby is listed on Louisiana Tech's first two-deep of the season, Matt Belinson of the Ruston Daily Leader reports.

Impact Crosby has been in the process of recovery from an undisclosed injury for most of the offseason, but the tailback appears to be ready to roll as he's listed as a co-starter on Louisiana Tech's opening depth chart alongside Donerio Davenport. Crosby should be eagerly anticipating his return to action, as he logged just one carry for 20 yards last fall.

Slow recovery set Louisiana Tech's head coach Sonny Cumbie said the team will bring Crosby (undisclosed) "along slowly" during spring practice, Matt Belinson of the Ruston Daily Leader reports.

Impact Cumbie's update indicates Louisiana Tech will take its time with Crosby, who still has plenty of time to recover before the Bulldogs before their 2024 season. The current expectation is that he will be ready for spring football, but perhaps just later into it.

Impact This is the first time that Crosby has shown any potential since having a big game against Stephen F. Austin. All in all, this running game has struggled.
