Impact Sluka will end his season after three appearances for the Rebels, indicating unconformities with the program. There is speculation the senior quarterback will enter the transfer portal to go play for another school in the 2025 season, Mike Grimala of the Las Vegas Sun reports. The 6-foot-3 signal-caller ends the year by completing less than 50 percent of his passes for 318 yards, six touchdowns and one interception. He also totaled 39 carries for 253 yards and one touchdown across three outings.

Impact Sluka couldn't get much going through the air against the Jayhawks but he more than made up for it on the ground, leading UNLV in rushing yards in the upset win. Through three games, Sluka's completed just 43.8 percent of his passes for 318 yards though he's thrown for six touchdowns with just one interception. He's up to 253 rushing yards with a score on 39 attempts.

Impact Sluka would only complete eight passes in the blowout win though he certainly made them count, throwing for three touchdowns in the first quarter before adding a 30-yard rushing score in the second. Sluka's completed just 46.7 percent of his passes through his first two games at UNLV, though he's thrown five touchdowns while adding 129 rushing yards on 20 attempts.

Sluka won the quarterback job at UNLV after starting three seasons at Holy Cross. While he didn't fill the stat sheet in his Rebels debut, Sluka likely showed enough promise both with his arm and legs to earn another look next week in a more favorable matchup against Utah Tech.
