Lands kicking job Trickett will serve as Minnesota's kicker to open the 2021 season, Andy Greder of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Impact Trickett transferred in from Kent State after winning MAC Special Teams Player of the Year honors back in 2019. During that season, he nailed 29 of his 34 field-goal attempts and all 39 of his extra-point attempts. He hit on four of his six field goals last year and all 22 extra-point tries and will now gain some visibility in the Twin Cities.
