Not lot of spread for Texas Tech going into game against FIU

Impact After FIU beat up on overmatched LIU in Week 1, it remained to be seen what Bortenschlager would do against a tougher opponent. It was a mixed bag here. Two touchdowns and no interceptions is good, but you want to see a quarterback completed more than half his passes against Texas State, and this was a game that went into overtime at that.

Impact Last year in limited action for FIU, Bortenschlager only completed 45.8 percent of his passes. This was an easy matchup, obviously. Still, this kind of efficiency is encouraging, but we will want to see more.
