Impact Bernard left early in the game while favoring his shoulder but did return and play quite a bit of snaps. While dealing with the injury, he recorded a season-high six catches on nine targets. Bernard has received double-digit carries in nine straight games, so it's likely that he'll keep being that workhorse back for the Utes. Utah will play Iowa State next week.

Nabs TD reception vs. BYU Bernard recorded 17 carries for 78 yards during Saturday's 22-21 loss against Brigham Young. He also grabbed two of four targets for six yards and a touchdown.

Impact Bernard was able to grab his second touchdown reception of the season, and he surpassed 2,000 career rushing yards at Utah. It didn't change the fact that Utah's offense is struggling with whatever quarterback they throw out there. Brandon Rose made his starting debut against the Cougars and the Utes nearly pulled out the win, however, it wasn't necessarily due to a strong offensive performance. Bernard will continue to get significant touches each week, but defenses will be able to focus their efforts against him. Utah will play at Colorado next week.

Impact Bernard was able to record his fourth touchdown of the 2024 season. While he's still receiving significant touches on a week-to-week basis, poor quarterback play is holding back his production numbers. He's managed just one 100-yard rushing performance in his last four games as opposing teams have been able to stack the box against the star runner. Utah will play an undefeated BYU team after a bye week.

Impact Bernard had one of his worst performances of the year with 4.2 yards per carry against TCU. With QB Isaac Wilson struggling at QB, it allows defenses to stack the box against Bernard and it appears that Utah is a one-dimensional offense. With that said, Utah should be able to have more success against a bad Houston defense next week.

Silver lining in loss on road Bernard had 21 rushes for 129 yards and one touchdown and hauled in 5 of 9 targets for 61 yards during Friday's 27-19 loss against Arizona State.

Impact Bernard had his best game of the season despite the Utah offense struggling for most of the night. Cameron Rising returned from his hand injury and was fairly inaccurate with three interceptions against the Sun Devils. Bernard posted his fourth 100-yard rushing game of the season, and the nine targets in the passing game were a career-high. With recent struggles at quarterback, Utah may need to lean on Bernard a bit more when they play TCU next week.

Impact Bernard's 182 yards were a career high as he showed he could be the best player on the field in the big win at Oklahoma State. In his last three games, Benard is averaging 20.3 rushing attempts per game. That's significant volume for fantasy rosters and he's taking full advantage of those opportunities at 6.9 yards per carry. It's surprising that he has just one rushing score over that stretch, so expect there to be more touchdowns in the future if this volume continues. Utah will play Arizona next week.
