Making push, expected in committee Mitchell is making a significant push for playing time and could be part of a by-committee approach during Utah's 2024 season, Jason Batacao of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. Impact Mitchell is a 6-foot, 211-pound running back expected to begin his collegiate career during 2024. Utah's competition at the position is currently considered a dead heat, which he has viewed as an opening. Because there remains no clear-cut No. 1 at running back, the Utes are considering a "by-committee approach" with Mitchell, Micah Bernard and Jaylon Glover. This is a relatively impressive spot for Mitchell to be in, considering he is not as highly experienced as Bernard and Glover are in FBS action.
