Stephon Robinson - Scores in Northwestern debutRobinson recorded five receptions for 79 yards and a touchdown in the season opener versus Michigan State.
ImpactRobinson joined the Wildcats after largely falling out of the rotation last year at Kansas and displayed the ability he showed in 2019 when he compiled 45 grabs for 727 yards and eight scores. If the opener is any indication, Robinson could be a major factor in the passing attack this season.

Bryce Kirtz - Leads team in receivingKirtz compiled seven receptions for 80 yards in the opener versus Michigan State.
ImpactKirtz was viewed as a top-three wideout entering the season and did nothing to disprove that in the opener. Look for the sophomore to continue to be involved in what looked like a solid passing attack Friday.

Evan Hull - Heads RBs in pass-heavy attackHull rushed a team-high nine times (aside from quarterback Hunter Johnson's 11) for 87 yards in the opener versus Michigan State.
ImpactHull and the run game had to be abandoned for most of the second half with the Wildcats down 21-7 at the half and 28-7 at the end of the third quarter. What work he did get resulted in efficient production, totaling 87 yards on nine carries, including a 49-yard scamper. He seems the likely candidate for the lead role in 2021 with Cam Porter (lower body) done for the season.

Hunter Johnson - Solid in season openerJohnson completed 30 of his 43 pass attempts for 283 yards and three touchdowns versus Michigan State in the season opener.
ImpactJohnson exceeded expectations in the opener but still couldn't take home the win due to defensive struggles for the Wildcats. The senior signal-caller should have a good chance to keep the offensive momentum going next week against what should be an overmatched Indiana State club.
