Shines in Week 1 showdown Moss completed 27 of 36 passes for 378 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's 27-20 victory versus LSU. Impact Moss looked like a seasoned veteran in his first game as the Trojans' QB1. The redshirt junior overcame significant pressure in his face for much of the game, and he fluidly distributed the ball to USC's deep corps of talented receivers. Moss also showed his deep-ball accuracy with multiple downfield completions, including a 28-yard touchdown strike to wideout Ja'Kobi Lane in the fourth quarter. The signal-caller then led the Trojans on an eight-play, 75-yard scoring drive to win the game with a 13-yard rushing touchdown from Woody Marks. This strong performance combined with USC's arsenal of skilled receivers should have Moss set up to be the next in a long line of highly-prolific passers to play under coach Lincoln Riley.
