The redshirt junior appeared to step up into the Golden Gophers' top pass-catching role with Chris Autman-Bell (lower leg) set to miss the remainder of the season, finishing as the top target for quarterback Tanner Morgan (23-of-26 passing, 268 yards, three touchdowns) on Saturday. Brown-Stephens averaged three receptions, 53.5 yards and four targets between Weeks 1 and 2, but his production should take a jump as Minnesota's most experienced wideout moving forward.
